reason Sonam Kapoor was trolled when she tried to dig out Esha Deol reference
from past. The impact was so much that Sonam had to even delete her tweet.
And now after the backlash, Papa Anil Kapoor has jumped into her defense saying that Sonam can handle these things very well. The evergreen actor when asked to comment on the recent Abhay Deol versus Sonam Kapoor clash on Twitter on the issue of fairness cream endorsement by Bollywood stars said, “These are really small things and I let my kids deal with their matters. Let the kids handle this on their own. Sonam will be the right person to speak about it and I would rather talk about health or any crucial issue. Sonam can handle these things very well.”
Anil Kapoor voiced his opinion while casting his ballot for the upcoming IIFA awards which are scheduled to happen in New York this year.
The proud father also shared his excitement on his daughter being recognized during the announcement of National Awards this year. “She is so fortunate in such a short span. She has done very few films and has got the highest recognition in the country. I am looking forward for 3rd May event when she will go on the stage and receive the highest award from the president of the country.”
